The mission of ARMA International is to provide education, research, and networking opportunities to information professionals. To enable them to use their skills and experience to leverage the value of records, information, and knowledge as corporate assets and as contributors to organizational success.
Code of Professional Responsibility
The Code of Professional Responsibility for records and information managers is intended to increase the awareness of ethical issues among information and records management practitioners. And to guide them in reflection, decision making, and action in two broad areas of ethical concern: society and the profession.
ARMA International Headquarters is in Prairie Village, Kansas. ARMA International’s leadership consists of professional staff, committee chairmen, and elected officers.
ARMA International is divided into 12 regions, each with a vice president who serves on the International Board of Directors. At the local level, there are over 150 Chapters throughout the United States, Canada, Japan, and New Zealand.
